My book The History Of Football In Brynaman is coming along nicely, Im up to around 35,000 words and have worked my way back to the early parts of the 1900's. Unfortunatly due to work committments I have been unable to find as much time as I would like to concentrate on my research. I have now broken into the early 90s of Bryn Rovers Afc and am steadily working my way up to current times

What started as a research project into the history of Bryn Rovers AFC quickly escalated into a dissertation chartering the various football teams Brynaman has seen from 1921-2010. The various teams that I have reserched are as follows.

Brynaman F.C 1921 Amman Valley League

Mountain Rovers 1929

Brynaman F.C 1930s Carmarthenshire League

Brynaman F.C 1946 Ammanford League

Brynaman A.F.C 1972-88 Neath and District League

Bryn Rovers A.F.C 1985-Present Neath and District League

It is certain that there at least 4 different teams here, what is uncertain is whether or not the team brynaman had between 1921-1946 was the same team or a mixture of teams, as they competed in 3 different leagues. I have chosen to over look the West End football team that was based in Brynaman simply because of lack of information or co-operation.
